Process
Over the years I have refined my ways of working to better understand problems and empathize with users to craft solutions that reduce friction and deliver results.

Understand
I start by falling in love with the problem and learning everything I can that could uncover potential areas for improvement. This stage is about understanding the user, business objectives, competitors, and any technical constraints.

Ideate
Once I have a better idea of what it is that I am trying to accomplish, I work in small, iterative loops to create a variety of concepts that can be shared for review with stakeholders—ensuring I never stray too far away from what solutions are technically feasible and able to be completed on time and on budget.

Create
This is where I begin to bring the vision to reality. I plan out what designs are necessary to successfully communicate the full story—accounting for themes and styles, components, user flows, interaction details, edge cases, and prototyping. Again, I try to share concepts early with stakeholders for review.

Deliver
When the designs are complete, reviewed and approved by the client or internal stakeholders, I collaborate with engineering to ensure quality standards are met in implementation.
